Marim is a Fused Glass and Sand Blasting artist. Fused Glass is an ancient art of assembling cut pieces of glass and heating them in a kiln to temperatures in excess of 1500 degrees F until they melt into a single, solid piece. These "pools" of glass can then be reheated into different shapes to form works of art such as bowls and masks.

Other materials, such as gold and copper can be added during the fusing process to enhance the beauty of the work. Sand blasting can add an additional artistic element to these pieces.
